Posting rules

The rules are.. there are no rules! Just kidding.. :p

The net is no longer the playfield for childish pranks in the comfort of anonymity. Now every user is a Netizen following an unsaid code of Netiquette. I thought adding comment moderation to the blog would run the risk of making it a uni-dimensional perspective. So I've decided to let people say what they need to.. within reasonable limits.

So unless you're someone who has Tourette Syndrome, you're part of the KKK.. or you just idolize Eric Cartman.. you need not worry about your posts.

I still reccommend having a quick look.

The following may lead to post deletion:

1. Spam - As simple as that.

Eg. Work from home! Click here! - Deleted.. I'm too lazy to want to work!

2. Deliberate Misleading Information - Please try to verify facts before you post them by posting supportive links OR state that it is your personal opinion only. Any 'facts' posted without weightage can be deleted.

Eg. 'Everyone knows' that the earth is flat, Osama bin Laden secretly works at McDonald's in Bulawayo and that this post will be deleted the minute I read it.

3. Racist / Verbal Attacks - Since there is no clear cut line between friendly humour and verbal assault, please do not use abusive language directed against other bloggers. Random and undirected vocalization of thoughts can be overlooked. :D

Eg.
a) Go *&^% yourself you smelly *&#^$#$*#. - Deleted you stupid son of a *&^#$!
b) Our college premises smells of dog *&^#! - Approved and seconded!

4. Irrelevant Posts - Posts should be pertaining to the topic being discussed, and can be deleted. This includes personal arguments and off handed comments about someone's weight.

Eg.
a) Speaking of Global warming, I got a haircut yesterday. - Deleted.. but I'm curious as to how that would reduce your carbon footprint!


Other aspects of posting will be dealt with if any problems arise..
